Introduction
The course “The First Responder (PRIT)” provides training aimed at initial action in emergency, risk, or crisis situations. Taught and developed by A-GLOSS, covers the role of the first responder, self-protection, environment assessment, and basic victim assistance until specialized resources arrive.
Methodology
The course combines theoretical content with a practical approach, including case analyses, applied exercises and in-person and virtual practicums. Texts, images and interactive resources are used to facilitate learning.
Contents
Initial list of topics and exercises that are developed throughout the course, focused on risk identification, initial assessment, operational communication and basic assistance.
Assessment
Self-assessment at the end of each content module to consolidate basic concepts and procedures.
Student support
The student will have access to tutorials and consultation forums to resolve doubts and support the training process.
Title
Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by A-GLOSS, certifying their competencies as First Responder.
Act safely and in a coordinated manner as the first responder in emergencies.
Assess environmental risks before intervening.
Apply basic self-protection and scene control protocols.
Conduct initial assessment of victims (ABC / STOP / SCENE).
Perform basic assistance maneuvers and initial life support.
Make operational decisions under pressure in dynamic scenarios.
