Introduction
The program “Expert in Procedures Focused on Citizen Protection” is an advanced program aimed at developing operational competencies for the prevention, management and response to urban risks, integrating situational control criteria, security protocols and strategies against complex threats in public environments.
Developed and delivered by A-GLOSS, this pathway trains the student in procedures applicable to high-exposure scenarios: incident management, professional response to threats, protection of public spaces and strengthening of citizen security through modern methodologies and a practical approach.
The program combines tactical and analytical tools to intervene in a safe, coordinated and proportionate manner, incorporating techniques for environmental assessment, risk identification, countermeasures against urban terrorism and the implementation of security protocols oriented toward community protection.
Courses that make up the program
This pathway is structured into three specialized, complementary courses:
-
(CESS) Control of the Operational Situational Environment (70 h)
-
(TECTU) Tactics and Countermeasures of Urban Terrorism (120 h)
-
(PROSESC) Security Protocols Applied to Citizen Safety (120 h)
Final integrative project: 100 h
The student will develop an individual project aimed at the practical integration of the content, applying situational analysis, protocols and operational measures for citizen protection.
Methodology
The program combines theoretical with a focus practical and applied, prioritizing the direct transfer of operational tools to the real environment.
Includes:
-
Training content in web format with educational resources (texts, images, graphics and supplementary material).
-
Supporting documents for reading and analysis: technical guides, articles, procedures and specialized bibliography.
-
Practical exercises per module for situational assessment, risk identification and response planning.
-
Analysis of urban cases and scenarios to strengthen operational judgment and decision-making under pressure.
-
Self-assessments at the end of each module to reinforce key concepts.
-
Individualized tutoring as continuous learning support.
-
Forums and messaging for interaction with the instructor and resolution of doubts.
-
Voluntary attendance videoconferences (recorded for later viewing).
-
Capstone project to consolidate expert-level competencies.
Title
Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by A-GLOSS, demonstrating their skills as Expert in Procedures Focused on Citizen Protection, with training in situational control, safety protocols and prevention and response measures against urban threats.
